Employees of Wisconsin technology company are offered with microchip implants to have access into the company building and canteen. This miniscule chip, which is the application of RFID technology, can be placed between thumb and forefinger.
Using the chip, employees can purchase items, have authorization inside a company, and the computer with a hand scan. Wisconsin company CEO Todd Westby said that the RFID technology will revolutionize the tech world from making purchases to payment. Also, he expects the RFID technology to be used for public transit, passports, and purchasing.
Even though, implanting employees with microchips sound like a nightmare, the company has already advanced in its procedure by entering into a partnership with a Swedish company BioHax International.
